Credit Unions, Coffee and Conversation: Juan E. Fernandez Ceballos, CEO of Credit Union Association of New Mexico
The latest episode of MCUL’s podcast series, Credit Unions, Coffee and Conversation, features guest Juan E. Fernandez Ceballos, President/CEO of Credit Union Association of New Mexico (CUANM).
Ceballos marks the first fellow league leader guest on the program. He took over as president/CEO of CUANM in June 2021, but got his start in the credit union industry at the age of 19, during college, working at multiple credit unions around upstate New York before entering at the league level.
The two use Pride Month as an opportunity to discuss CUANM’s LGBTQ+ initiatives, how the New Mexico credit union movement served its communities during the pandemic and the collaborative opportunities of the industry as a whole.
