What TruStage Shared with League Leaders
During a July 22 briefing, TruStage told League leaders that it activated its incident response plan immediately after identifying the issue, proactively took systems offline and engaged external cybersecurity experts, regulators and law enforcement. TruStage said it is restoring systems and services carefully and methodically while it works to understand the full scope of the incident.
Because the investigation is ongoing, TruStage said it cannot yet provide details about potentially affected data. The organization identified understanding the facts, supporting credit unions and taking appropriate action as its key priorities.
