Community Focus FCU Expands Community Partnership with Financial Education Initiative
Community Focus Federal Credit Union has partnered with Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry in Taylor to help connect local individuals and families with financial education, resources and support.
Through the partnership, representatives from Community Focus will be available during select Fish & Loaves shopping days to answer financial questions and provide guidance on topics such as budgeting, credit building, debt management, savings and available financial resources.
"Financial wellness is about more than offering products and services. It’s about making sure people have access to information and support that can help them make confident financial decisions," said Andrew Gregoire, President and CEO of Community Focus Federal Credit Union. "We’re proud to partner with Fish & Loaves and support the important work they are already doing for families throughout our community."
The initiative is designed to make financial guidance more accessible by bringing resources directly into the community and meeting people where they already are.
"Helping our families at Fish & Loaves get connected to trusted resources in the community is extremely important to our organization," said Stephanie McNees, Executive Director and CEO of Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry. "Community Focus Federal Credit Union has supported our mission and been a wonderful partner for many years. Taking this next step and bringing financial resources directly to our clients at the pantry will make a true difference."
The partnership builds on Community Focus Federal Credit Union's ongoing commitment to financial education and community outreach throughout Wayne and Monroe counties.
