Credit Union Volunteers and Guests Enjoy Outing and More at Fall Conference

grand traverse commonsMeeting other volunteers, exchanging ideas and enjoying new sights are consistently ranked high by attendees to the Fall Leadership Development Conference, and this year offers a great backdrop for participants to do just that. The event takes place Sept. 14-16 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and features over a dozen sessions ideal for credit union volunteers and executive leaders. Registrants are reminded to arrive in time for the complimentary Friday evening networking reception on Sept. 14 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. and that guests are welcome, too.

Attendees and their guests are also encouraged to register for an optional outing to tour The Village at Grand Traverse Commons which includes motor coach transportation, a one-hour walking tour, and time for shopping, exploration and a visit to the winery for $40 per person. Formerly known as the Traverse City State Hospitals, the Village at Grand Traverse Commons has been reimagined into amazing new spaces with stunning views.

What else is available for guest attendees? Mini-services at Spa Grand Traverse have been arranged for Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. and again from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. for $35 per person, with space limited to 25 guests per time slot. Tickets are also available for $59 per guest to join attendees at the Saturday night dinner, providing a memorable evening with comedic entertainment.

Hotel rooms are being held at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa until Aug. 23 and details about additional accommodations at other area hotels are listed on the event website.
