MCUF Save to Win Grant Funding Available!
Did you know the Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) offers grant funding to help credit unions launch Save to Win? Through MCUF Community Enrichment Support funding, eligible credit unions can receive up to $2,000 to help offset the one-time implementation fee for the Adult Save to Win program.
Save to Win looks and feels like a traditional savings account; members earn interest and maintain full access to their funds, but, with an incentive! For every qualifying $25 deposit, members earn entries into monthly and quarterly price drawings, with prizes up to $5,000. The more they save, the more changes they have to win, making saving both rewarding and engaging.
New! Save to Win Youth Add-On
For credit unions already participating in Save to Win, a Youth Account add-on is now available. Designed to help younger members build strong savings habits early, the Youth program allows members to earn entries for every $10 deposit, with age-appropriate prize structures and parameters.
To support this expansion, MCUF is offering up to $1,000 in grant funding to assist with implementation costs for the Save to Win Youth add-on.
Whether you're launching the Adult program for the first time or expanding your impact with a Youth component, MCUF funding can help make it happen.
Applying for MCUF support funding is quick and simple and starts with a phone call or email to Andrea Tucker, Executive Director. Ready to apply? Access the online grant application here.
Grant funds are available to Michigan credit unions, new to the Save to Win Adult program and to existing Save to Win partners, adding the Youth program. Funding cannot be retroactively applied to previously implemented programs.
