Just Added! MCUL Offers Virtual Stablecoin Session Featuring Lamont Black in Collaboration with Illinois CU League
Stablecoins are moving rapidly from the margins of crypto into the core of the financial system — and credit union leaders need to understand what that means.
During a three-part webinar series being hosted by the Illinois CU League, Michigan credit union executives, board members and senior leaders who want a clear, practical understanding of stablecoins without the technical jargon may register for the 60-minute sessions being offered at 4 p.m. (ET) on March 10, March 17 and April 7.
Participants will learn what stablecoins are, why they are increasingly viewed as financial infrastructure, how they could reshape the payments landscape and what steps credit unions should consider next. Dr. Lamont Black is a finance professor at DePaul University and an expert in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency and blockchain will facilitate the series which is available for $250 per person.
