Big Ideas, Big Name Guests: AC&E Maintains Big Reputation

The MCUL/CUSG Annual Convention & Exposition (AC&E) is known throughout the state and across the country as one the nation’s most highly regarded credit union conferences.

Amazing speakers, timely conversations, popular venues, great entertainment, quality networking time, a high-energy expo hall and opportunities to support charitable causes make it the state's "must attend" event for credit union professionals each year.

The 2018 AC&E will not disappoint, as the event heads to the beautiful Traverse City area and the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa from June 6–9.

Jim Nussle, President and CEO of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), will address attendees Center Stage! on Friday, June 8, along with State Representative Lee Chatfield and a special video message from U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow.

AC&E features dozens of conference education sessions, including three new sessions on providing financial services to marijuana-related businesses. "Cannabis Banking: Boots on the Ground Perspective," "Marihuana Businesses: What Credit Unions Need to Know" and the "Cannabis Banking: What's the Big Deal?” Lunch and Learns are all slated for Friday as hot topic sessions.

The exposition hall is now sold out with over 110 exhibitors from throughout the country to be on hand to meet with attendees and showcase the latest products and services solutions.

There is still time to register for AC&E and attendees are reminded that several guest activities are planned for those who may join them at the event, including "Get in the Swing: Golf Pro Clinic," "An Afternoon at the Spa," “Backpacks for Kids" community service project and a "Traverse City Splendor" downtown shopping, lunch and tour of Black Star Farms.
