Credit Union ONE Breaks Ground on Future Shelby Township Branch to Relocate in Fall 2017

On May 16, Credit Union ONE broke ground to begin construction on its new, full-service branch location. The existing branch at 51111 Van Dyke, will relocate this fall to the new location at 55600 Van Dyke Avenue and will offer extended hours and introduce new tools and technology specifically designed to enhance the member experience.

“The new branch is designed to deliver the best possible experience for our members,” says Credit Union ONE president and chief executive officer Gary Moody. “We’re excited for members to see how the relocated branch will enhance Credit Union ONE’s ability to serve them and provide greater access to the products and services that are most important to them.”

“Our members value the full range of financial services Credit Union ONE offers,” says Krystine Newberry, branch manager. “Our staff will continue to offer the exceptional, personal service our members have come to know over the years. The new Shelby Township branch allows us to introduce new tools, technology and resources that keep our members at the center of the branch experience.”

Tuesday’s groundbreaking included Credit Union ONE EVP Chief Operating Officer Tom Schaeffler, Shelby Township branch manager Krystine Newberry, CU ONE board member Jan Gillespie, Don Brown representing Congressman Paul Mitchel, Stan Muszynski representing State Representative Peter Lucido, and Stephanie Heidt representing MCUL. The ceremony marked the official start of construction, which should be complete this fall.
