NCUA and CDFI Fund Hosting Webinar on Community Development Resources for Credit Unions
Credit unions seeking resources for community development investments are encouraged to participate in a June 2 webinar hosted by the National Credit Union Administration and the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.
NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper will deliver opening remarks and staff from both agencies will discuss Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grants, the CDFI Fund’s Small Dollar Loan Program, and other opportunities to help eligible credit unions make investments in their communities.
Online registration for the webinar is now open. This webinar is available at no cost and will run approximately 90 minutes. Participants will be able to log into the webinar and view it on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
Participants can submit questions anytime during the presentation or in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “CDFI Resources.” Please email technical questions about accessing the webinar to either uccwebinar@ncua.gov or uccsupport@ncua.gov. This webinar will be closed captioned and archived online approximately one week following the live event.
Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grants require a credit union to have the low-income designation. CDFI certified organizations are eligible to participate in Community Development Financial Institutions Fund programs. Click here for more information on CDFI certification and eligibility.
