OMNI Gives Back Program Expands Its Impact in Calhoun County
OMNI Community Credit Union is reflecting on the impact of its OMNI Gives Back Program throughout 2025, which continued to strengthen its reach across Calhoun County. By combining member savings with charitable giving, the program delivered meaningful financial support to nonprofit organizations while helping members secure competitive auto loan rates.
Through the OMNI Gives Back Program, the credit union donates $25
for every auto loan funded. This increased donation level, which began in 2025 and continues through 2026, allows members to create a larger community impact simply by financing a vehicle with OMNI.
In 2025, several Calhoun County nonprofit organizations received significant contributions through the program:
-
Southwest Michigan Veterans Relief Fund: $13,355.00
Supporting local veterans and their families through emergency assistance and community based resources. -
South Michigan Food Bank: $7,705.00
Providing food and hunger relief services to individuals and families across the region. -
S.A.F.E. Place: $5,305.00
Offering shelter, advocacy, and support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The OMNI Gives Back Program is designed to deliver tangible value on two fronts. Members save money on their auto loans, and each loan simultaneously fuels charitable giving.
“Every auto loan tells a bigger story,” said Mark Cramer, CEO of OMNI Community Credit Union. “Our members aren’t just saving money with a great auto loan, they’re actively helping us invest back into the communities we serve. Increasing the donation amount allows us to make an even larger impact alongside our members.”
This dual benefit model reflects a growing trend among Michigan credit unions: leveraging core financial products to create sustained community investment, an approach that aligns with the cooperative mission credit unions share statewide.
