MCCU Sponsors Second Annual Night of Starrs Event
Marshall Community Credit Union is happy to announce their sponsorship of the 2018 Starr Commonwealth Night of Starrs event. The event is aimed at raising money to help support the children and families that attend Starr Commonwealth, as well as recognize leaders in the community.
The event will be held April 11 at the Mawby Conference Center on Starr Commonwealth’s Albion campus.
Starr Commonwealth is dedicated to creating positive environments where children and families flourish, specializing in residential, community-based, educational and professional training programs.
Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union Collects Hundreds of Books and Art Supplies for Covenant Kids
To celebrate National Reading & Art Month in March, Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union collected more than 200 books and art supplies, along with cash donations, for Covenant Kids. Covenant Kids is a fund managed by the Covenant HealthCare Foundation dedicated to enhancing the care for all Covenant patients under the age of 17 and their families.
“We were thrilled to participate in National Reading & Art Month,” said Laura Crase, President/CEO of SMFCU. “Donating our favorite books and art supplies is just a small way to impact Covenant Kids and our community. We are so thankful for all of our members’ support.”
Dort Federal Credit Union Helps “Paint Our Town Blue”
Dort Federal Credit Union is proud to participate in this years Paint Our Town Blue campaign. Paint Our Town Blue is an initiative of Priority Children, Weiss Advocacy Center and Whaley Children’s Center promoting the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the community. The movement is a collaboration of Genesee County nonprofits, community leaders, businesses and residents with an aim to raise its prevalence and long-term impact on child development, as well as the social and economic conditions in the community.
Dort Federal Credit Union has blue pinwheels on the lawn of all their branches to symbolize the great childhood that all children deserve. The Paint Our Town Blue initiative will provide a visual reminder to every one of the need for child protection in our community.Go to main navigation
