Top Compliance Issues and CEO Compensation Draw Directors and CEOs to Conference

  • Spring Leadership Development Conference registration open for April 27-29

The MCUL & Affiliates 2018 Spring Leadership Development Conference will draw credit union volunteers and CEOs from across the state to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, April 27–29.

Popular sessions include "Top 10 Compliance Issues for Boards” and "CEO Compensation," which will discuss innovative compensation approaches including variable pay, flexible benefits and retirement packages. "Lending 101 for Volunteers: Answers to Questions You Haven't Asked Management" is also on the agenda as a two-part presentation, as well as the CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program session "Asset Liability Management for Directors (V415)" and "Human Resources and Healthcare Compliance: An Ounce of Prevention Can Save Tons of Money!"

Hotel accommodations are being held at a negotiated rate until April 4 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort and the Soaring Eagle Waterpark. Registration is $399 per person with savings for the fifth attendee and more at just $350 per person. Guests are welcome to join participants and enjoy the option of meals, a fun "Whimsy Wood Sign Painting Workshop" and bingo.
