Book Rooms and Register Now for Fall Leadership Development Conference
Now is the time to register credit union volunteers and directors to attend the MCUL & Affiliates 2017 Fall Leadership Development Conference, being held Sept. 15-17 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa near Traverse City.
Attendees will enjoy the colorful landscapes Michigan offers in the autumn, while using the opportunity to network with peers from across the state and delve into forward-thinking topics such as the keynote presentation, "The Future of Credit Unions...Becoming Relevant."
The event provides an increased focus on fraud issues that directors should be aware of and is slated to offer training on the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as several sessions important to supervisory committee members.
This year's optional outing for attendees and their guests on Saturday afternoon is a tour and tasting at Mission Point Lighthouse & Chateau Chantal Winery. Guest attendees may purchase meals for the conference, including the Saturday night dinner featuring music and comedy by the group Class Fun.
