  • The Supervisory Committee Academy (TM) will offer a webinar on Keeping Track of the Credit Union through Financial Statements, on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 2-3 p.m. (ET). Available for $249, the session will make keeping track of a credit union’s financial health easy by understanding the key ratios to monitor and will explain how to evaluate financial strength and stability, and if it is falling short. Industry consultant Tim Harrington will conduct the training.

  • On Jan. 31, CUNA will offer a webinar on Tax Refunds: ACH Postings, Exceptions & Financial Institution Liability from noon-1 p.m. (ET). With the IRS issuing more than 101 million tax refunds on a yearly basis and with over 80 percent of these being via direct deposit, it is imperative that financial institutions handle tax refunds with the utmost care and take caution to avoid large dollar losses that can be caused by not understanding the unique requirements of IRS tax refunds. This webinar is beneficial for ACH operations, branch personnel, compliance officers and AAP candidates, and is available for $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions.
