  • Now is the time to register for the Collector's Training School, being hosted by MCUL & Affiliates in cooperation with the Collection Consortium. Featuring nationally recognized attorney and collection specialist John H. Bedard, Jr., the event takes place May 10 at the Marriott in Troy, near Somerset Collection Mall. Registration is $169 per person, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
  • Five Things the Supervisory Committee Needs to Know About Compliance, a webinar offered by the Supervisory Committee Academy (TM), has been rescheduled to July 12. The session will be led by attorney David Reed who will explore how financial institutions are among the most highly regulated entities in the world. He will provide an understanding of the interplay between credit union operations and regulatory compliance as a central element of sound oversight and explore the current state of regulatory compliance and the key components that cannot be ignored. Registration is $249.
  • CUNA will offer an April 27 webinar on Mastering the Metrics: Measure Your Team and Your Members that will be held from 1-2 p.m. (ET). The training will explore if marketing efforts are contributing to long-term growth, or if members are doing business with a credit union because of price and convenience? This event is produced by the CUNA Center for Professional Development and endorsed by the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council. Registration is $219 for affiliated CUNA credit unions.
