CFPB Consumer Complaint Tracking Topic of Collections School
The CFPB is a complaint-driven agency, and credit union collection departments need to understand the necessity of how to properly respond and track complaints. During the MCUL & Affiliates Telephone & Technology Collections School, training will provided on how to answer a complaint in a timely and de-escalating manner, while avoiding intrusive actions from outside agencies. Attendees will also learn how to develop a complaint tracking program, which will satisfy the requirements of clients and the CFPB.
The event takes place Nov. 5 at the Dearborn Inn, a Marriott hotel, which is easily accessible from I-94, M-39 and US 12 and is within walking distance of The Henry Ford museum complex and IMAX Theater. Well-respected author and cyber tracking authority Ron Brown will facilitate the training, which is being offered in collaboration with the Collections Consortium.
