CP Federal Credit Union Awards More Than $3,000 in Mini Grants to Area Schools
CP Federal Credit Union (CPFCU) and their financial education program, the Vault, are proud to announce the 2018 Partners in Education mini grant recipients:
- $1,017.54 was awarded toward the creation of a S.T.E.A.M. robotics club for Bean, Warner and Parma Elementary.
- $967.52 was awarded to Northwest Early Elementary to purchase new headphones for their Technology for Young Minds program.
- $659.34 was granted to fund the financial literacy curriculum for seventh graders at Western Middle School.
- $499.50 was awarded to Northwest Early Elementary to bring Michigan author Clay Boura to the school to present idioms to second graders. He will discuss idioms, read his books and have the students draw their own “Beamer,” a character from one of his books.
CPFCU is committed to giving back to our community. The Partners in Education mini grant program is designed to help fund additional learning opportunities for our students at partnering schools. The Vault teaches young members how to save, share and spend their money wisely.
