Serving the Underbanked and Millennials Panel Discussion at AC&E
When the Michigan credit union community gathers at the MCUL/CUSG 2019 Annual Convention & Exposition (AC&E), they will have the opportunity to engage with thought-leaders during a panel discussion on "Serving the Underbanked and Millennials: Credit Unions Can Find Innovative Ways to Serve Both."
Dave Adams, president/CEO of MCUL and CU Solutions Group, will be joined by Lisa Servon, author of The Unbanking of America, Kevin Foster-Keddie, CEO of Washington State Employees Credit Union and Sean King, a consultant of FinTech, to facilitate the panel discussion Center Stage! on June 7.
The experts will share trends and opportunities related to competing with payday lenders for small-dollar loans within the landscape of emerging neo-banks and challenger banks. The moderated panel discussion will lay the groundwork for opportunity and explore solutions for how to fill the needs of the underbanked, with questions being provided from the audience.
The conversation will cover P2P, prepaid debit cards, digital-only banking, mobile-based lending, fractional share investing and PFM/Aggregation to help credit unions find their niche opportunities for serving needs and competing for share of wallet with their members.
The AC&E takes place June 5-8 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. Room accommodations are still available. In addition to full conference registration, one- and two-day registration options are offered.
