Support Common-Sense Regulatory Relief for Credit Unions?

Since the passage of Dodd-Frank Act in 2010, credit unions have been unnecessarily burdened by thousands of pages of new regulations. The U.S. House of Representatives is positioning itself to debate and vote on H.R. 10, the Financial Choice Act, which would offer credit unions important regulatory relief from several provisions in the Dodd-Frank Act.

Relief from these regulations will not occur unless we speak up. It is extremely important that you let your members of Congress know that common sense regulatory relief is important to all of Michigan’s member-owned credit unions.

Using the MCUL’s Voter Voice system, it’s easy for your credit union to send this message to your members of Congress. Simply click here, add your contact information and click “Send Message” to take action. Most importantly, please share this link with your entire credit union staff, management team and board of directors so they can take action as well.

Please email MCUL manager of federal legislative affairs Todd Jorns or MCUL VP of government affairs, Jordan Kingdon with any questions.
