Zeal Credit Union Brings Shred Day Event to Laurel Park Place Mall

Zeal Credit Union is hosting a free document shredding event and food drive at Laurel Park Place Mall in Livonia on Saturday, May 13, 2017. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or until the shred truck is full.

The truck will be located in the Mall parking area near the Von Maur entrance on Newburgh Road, just north of Six Mile Road.

The document shredding event is open to the public with a limit of five bags or boxes of personal documents. No metal, trash, plastic or non-paper items will be accepted.

Participants are requested to bring nonperishable canned goods that will be donated to the U.S. Postal Service food drive that is taking place the same weekend.

Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union Mortgage Originators Annah Orban and Sheila Pahl spent time delivering plants to local real estate offices.

Together they visited a total 26 real estate offices throughout communities served by AAACU as a “thank you” to the realtors for all that they do. Together the AAACU mortgage team and local real estate agents are helping credit union members make their dream of homeownership a reality. The realtors were extremely appreciative of Annah and Sheila for hand delivering the plants to their offices.
