  • The Supervisory Committee Academy (TM) is hosting a webinar on How to Know If Something Is Going Wrong…And What to Do About It on Oct. 12 from 2-3:30 p.m. (ET). Registration is $249 for the session that will be facilitated by Tim Harrington, a well-known industry consultant. The training helps supervisory committee members identify key indicators if something starts to go wrong, rather than waiting until the regulators or auditors identify an issue. The training also covers the role of the committee to manage the audit process and monitor internal controls.
     
  • Building Blocks of ACH will be the topic of an Oct. 4 webinar being presented by CUNA from noon-1:30 p.m. ET. The session will provide a foundation to understand ACH processing and broad insights to the ACH network and the processes it follows. Acronyms and their meanings along with the processing flow of an ACH transaction will be covered. The training is beneficial for individuals new to ACH operations and cash management, as well as frontline personnel. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated members.
     
  • CUNA will offer the webinar Forecasting and Budgeting Approaches on Oct. 6 from 3-4:30 p.m. ET. Budgeting and forecasting are equally important and challenging due to the array of components that influence each. Attendees will be provided information to understand sound methods for budgeting and forecasting important financials that affect a credit union's bottom line. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated members.
