Leadership Coach Lisa Schaefer to Deliver Workshop-Style Sessions at HERO25

Credit union professionals who work closely with other staffers, including HR teams, trainers, supervisors and managers, are headed to the MCUL HERO25 conference July 15-17 for networking, ideas, information and insights at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville.

Lisa Schaefer, a popular leadership trainer and coach will be delivering three workshop-style sessions on the last day of the conference. "Becoming a Person of Influence," will discuss how every interaction is an opportunity to influence others -- for better or worse -- and will help participants discover how anyone, regardless of title or position, can positively impact the lives of those around them.

"Stop Assuming, Start Helping: Reducing Bias and Building a Helpful Workplace Culture," will explore how assumptions and unconscious biases can quietly undermine collaboration, trust and productivity in the workplace. The eye-opening and interactive session will demonstrate how quickly the brain makes snap judgments and how those assumptions can create miscommunication, tension and unnecessary drama on teams.

And "Building Resilient Teams to Minimize Stress and Burnout," will share how to build team-level resiliency that protects against stress, prevents burnout and sustains high performance over time by unpacking the core elements of resilience -—adaptability, emotional awareness, connection and purpose.
