Community Choice Credit Union Serves 2,300 Meals During Statewide Summer Event

Community Choice Credit Union is celebrating the success of Stars, Stripes, and Stadium Bites, its statewide summer event held yesterday at all 23 member centers.

Designed as an America 250-inspired community celebration, the event brought food trucks to Community Choice locations across Michigan and invited members and neighbors alike to stop by for free meals, summer fun and local connection. Community Choice planned the event as a shared experience across its full footprint, building on the same community-first energy that has fueled other high-engagement activations.

By the end of the night, Community Choice distributed 2,300 meals statewide and welcomed 2,300+ guests across its member center network.

“We are honored and inspired by the overwhelming support from our members and neighbors. The energy and connection we felt during Stars, Stripes & Stadium Bites truly exemplify what it means to be part of a vibrant Michigan community. Thank you for making this event a celebration to remember,” said Scott Young, Engagement and Education Manager at Community Choice.

Stars, Stripes, and Stadium Bites reflects Community Choice’s continued commitment to creating meaningful, accessible ways to connect with the communities it serves, not just through financial services, but through memorable experiences that bring people together.
