Christian Financial Awards $13,500 in Scholarships to Local High School Graduates

Christian Financial Credit Union has awarded a total of $13,500 in scholarships to 22 outstanding high school seniors through two programs: the Bathanti-D’Agostino Memorial Scholarship and Christian/Catholic High School Scholarships. Recipients were selected based on their academic achievement, leadership and commitment to community involvement.

Bathanti-D’Agostino Memorial Scholarship

Christian Financial Credit Union awarded ten $750 scholarships, totaling $7,500, through the Bathanti-D’Agostino Memorial Scholarship. The program honors the credit union’s founding pioneers and recognizes students who demonstrate strong academic achievement and a commitment to community involvement. Applicants submitted transcripts, letters of recommendation, a résumé and an essay outlining how they embody the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.”

Christian/Catholic High School Scholarships

Christian Financial Credit Union awarded twelve $500 scholarships to students from local Christian and Catholic high schools, totaling $6,000. Recipients were selected by their schools for demonstrating academic excellence, leadership and strong character within their school communities.
