CASE Credit Union Awards $28,000 in Scholarships to Local Students
CASE Credit Union has awarded $28,000 in scholarships to local students for the 2026-27 academic year, recognizing academic achievement, community involvement and a commitment to financial literacy.
The credit union awarded 20 scholarships worth $1,000 each to high school students and four $2,000 scholarships to students attending Lansing Community College. The annual scholarship program considers financial need, academic performance, extracurricular involvement, recommendations and an essay focused on financial literacy initiatives.
“CASE Credit Union is proud to support the next generation of leaders who demonstrate dedication in the classroom, commitment to their communities and a strong vision for their futures,” said Jeffrey Benson, President and CEO of CASE Credit Union. “These scholarships reflect our ongoing commitment to education, financial wellness and the people helping people philosophy that guides our work.”
The high school scholarships honor Florence Chubb, June “Bud” Hayes, Hyrtl Feeman and Sheila A. Williams-Matlock, whose leadership and service helped shape CASE Credit Union and the communities it serves.
