TBA Credit Union Marks 70th Anniversary With $70,000 in Community Giving
TBA Credit Union (TBACU) is celebrating its 70th anniversary by expanding its annual Pay It Forward tradition and donating $70,000 to local nonprofit organizations during the month of November. The effort reflects TBACU’s long-standing commitment to supporting the community it has served since 1955.
Pay It Forward has been a TBACU tradition since 2015, designed to deliver random acts of kindness during the credit union’s anniversary month. This year, in honor of its 70-year milestone, TBACU invited local nonprofits to apply for a one-time grant by sharing how their missions align with TBACU’s values. The TBACU Executive Team selected seven organizations to receive $10,000 each.

“Reaching our 70th anniversary is more than a milestone; it’s a reminder of the trust and support we’ve received from our members and community,” said CEO Karen Browne. “This year’s special Pay It Forward initiative allowed us to share that gratitude in an even bigger way. Our annual celebration is about honoring that trust by giving back meaningfully and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive.”
