Community First Announces Retirement of Loan Officer Following 45 Years of Service
Community First Federal Credit Union (CFFCU) announced that Loan Officer Rebecca Harris will retire on January 23, concluding a 45-year career in the credit union industry.
Harris has been part of CFFCU since 2012 and began her career in 1981 with DFCU Financial, then known as Citizens Choice Credit Union. Over the years she developed a reputation for dedication, integrity and a commitment to assisting members with their financial needs.
“We are incredibly thankful for Becky’s commitment to Community First Federal Credit Union and to the credit union movement over the past 45 years,” said CEO Tim Rasmussen. “Her service has made a lasting impact on our members and our organization.”
Harris started her career as a teller and later held positions in collections and lending. In these roles she supported members through a range of financial decisions and contributed to their long-term financial goals.
Upon retirement, Harris plans to spend more time with her family and pursue camping, one of her longtime hobbies.
