Celebrate Credit Union Youth Month!

Each April, credit unions across the country celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month, a time dedicated to helping young people learn the value of saving, budgeting, and building healthy financial habits early in life. Throughout the month, credit unions place a special focus on youth financial education, engaging children and families with fun activities, conversations about money, and opportunities to start saving for the future.

The Michigan Credit Union Foundation is proud to support credit unions across the state with ready-to-use Credit Union Youth Month resources designed to make financial education engaging, accessible and easy to implement. The materials below include activity sheets, promotional graphics, and educational tools that credit unions can use in their branches, classrooms and community events throughout April.

These resources are intended to help Michigan credit unions spark meaningful conversations about money with young members, while making learning about saving fun and memorable. We encourage credit unions to customize and share these materials widely as you celebrate Youth Month and inspire the next generation of savers!
