MCUF Introduces Two New Professional Development Scholarships for Michigan Credit Union Employees
The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) is excited to announce the launch of two new scholarship opportunities designed to support the growth, education, and professional development of Michigan credit union employees. These scholarships are now available online at: mcul/cu-resources/scholarships
1. CUDE Training Scholarship
This scholarship provides full funding to attend the National Credit Union Foundation's Development Educator (DE) Program is one of the movements most respected leadership and impact-focused training experiences. Scholarships cover the full CUDE registration fee and help Michigan credit union professionals deepen their understanding of cooperative principles, community impact, and purpose-driven leadership.
2. Professional Development Scholarship for Other Education & Training Programs
MCUF is also introducing a flexible scholarship to support a wide range of credit union-aligned education and training opportunities. Eligible programs may include industry schools offered by America's Credit Unions, vendor-sponsored trainings, chapter or league-based programs, CU webinar sessions, and other professional development events that enhance credit union service and leadership.
Scholarships of up to $3,000 are available, and funding decisions are based on financial need, the relevance of the program to credit union development, and the potential impact on the applicant and their organization.
These new scholarship offerings reflect MCUF's ongoing commitment to strengthening the Michigan credit union community by investing in emerging leaders, developing talent and supporting meaningful, mission-aligned learning experiences.
