MCUF Awards Celebrate Financial Well-Being, Community Impact & Innovation
The 2026 Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) Awards are officially open for nominations, and we want to celebrate the meaningful work happening across Michigan’s credit unions every day. Whether you’re nominating yourself, a colleague, your credit union, or your chapter, these awards spotlight the programs and people driving positive change in communities statewide.
Nominations are open through January 9, 2026.
MCUF Award Categories
- MCUF Financial Well-Being Champion Award
- Recognizes an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership and measurable impact in improving member and community financial health. This award honors those who go above and beyond to advance financial well-being for all.
- MCUF Community Enrichment Award
- Celebrates a credit union or chapter that delivered an outstanding community impact initiative. New this year, awards in this category will be presented across two asset-size tiers – one for credit unions with assets of $250 million or less and one for credit unions with more than $250 million. This ensures fair recognition across differently sized organizations. The initiative should strengthen financial well-being for individuals, families, businesses or communities in Michigan.

- Debuting in 2025, this award recognizes an individual or credit union that has implemented a standout, forward-thinking initiative advancing financial inclusion for underserved or overlooked populations. This award honors creative approaches, strong community partnerships and measurable impact that expands access, removes barriers, and supports long-term financial well-being.
