FUEL MI: Connecting and Developing the Next Generation of Michigan Credit Union Leaders
FUEL MI, our statewide young professional networking group, was created to support, connect and develop emerging leaders within Michigan’s credit union movement. Supported in part by the Michigan Credit Union Foundation, the program encourages long-term engagement, leadership growth, and collaboration among credit union professionals early in their careers.
Designed with busy professionals in mind, FUEL MI offers quarterly in-person and virtual experiences that bring together young professionals from across the state. Participants build meaningful peer connections, gain exposure to the broader credit union system, and deepen their understanding of the cooperative difference.
The program emphasizes leadership development, networking, and community impact, giving participants opportunities to learn from industry leaders and engage in outreach initiatives that reflect the credit union mission of people helping people.
Applications are open for motivated Michigan credit union professionals who want to grow their skills, expand their networks, and play an active role in shaping the future of the movement.
