Virtual Lending School Offered in September
Michigan credit union lenders now have access to a two half-day virtual Lending School being offered Sept. 16 & 17. MCUL is partnering with the Wisconsin Credit Union League to support credit union lenders in leveling up their lending know-how with specialized consumer loan and underwriter training. Featuring Jessica Vartanian of CU Lending Advice, the sessions are designed to maximize engagement and learning in a remote environment!
The first day will focus on Specialized Consumer Loan topics such as strengthening applications, reading credit reports, credit score models, risk-based applications, equity and more. The next day focuses Specialized Underwriting to explore principles of a successful loan decision, bankruptcy predictors and risk assessment, FICO insights, debt ratio analysis and other topics.
Pre-assessment and post-training evaluations for the underwriting session will offer follow-up resources. Registration is available for either day or both days based on training needs. For additional information, please click here.
