Still Time to Register Staff for Virtual IRA Training
Credit union staffers who work with member IRAs have the opportunity to participate in online training taking place Feb. 10–11. MCUL’s popular IRA training features Deb Shipman, CIS, CIP, CISP from Ascensus, who leads both “Essentials” and “Advanced” IRA agenda topics, with attendees able to register for either or both days.
Day 1: Introduction to IRAs, how to establish them, funding, distributions, portability
Day 2: Legal issues, excess contribution, required minimum distributions, beneficiary options, withholding requirements and forms
Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with breaks
Cost: $294 per person for affiliated credit unions
