Education & Networking

MCUL is dedicated to keeping the Michigan credit union movement informed throughout the year with an events schedule that tackles our industry’s most relevant and paramount topics. Aside from the knowledge and best practices shared by experts, each of MCUL’s education events offers a great networking platform, where credit union professionals can connect and share insights and takeaways with one another.

Brett Dixon Speaks on AI at YOU Conference in Grand Rapids

Brett Dixon, founder of Dixon Strategic Labs will be delivering the Opening Session at the MCUL YOU Conference in Grand Rapids March 25–26.

The two-day event is designed to strengthen marketing, compliance and lending expertise and features a number of AI focused presentations, including Dixon speaking on "How to Use AI as a Strategic Thought Partner." He will address how AI offers powerful ways to enhance creativity, efficiency and member experience — but how financial institutions face real boundaries around data privacy, security and regulatory expectations.

Attendees will learn where AI can (and cannot) fit into workflows for marketing, lending and compliance, including real examples and tools that work without exposing sensitive data.

The event provides opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen peer networks and gain actionable solutions.

Registration is $520 for MCUL affiliated credit unions, and two scholarships are available for small credit unions that apply by Feb. 20.

Set in exciting downtown Grand Rapids and featuring networking opportunities and a vendor showcase, the event offers the ideal environment to learn, connect and return to the office equipped ready to put learning into action.
