MCUF CU Professional Development Scholarship
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a current employee of an MCUL-affiliated credit union at the time of application and throughout the duration of the supported program.
- Scholarship funds are reimbursed to the credit union after course completion. Proof of successful completion (certificate, transcript, attendance verification, etc.) is required for reimbursement.
- For multi-year America’s Credit Unions schools/programs:
- Scholarships may be renewed for up to three consecutive years provided the recipient:
- Remains an employee of an MCUL-affiliated credit union,
- Remains employed by the same credit union listed on the original application, and
- Continues attending the multi-year program without interruption.
- Recipients who change credit unions or pause/stop attendance must reapply with no guarantee of future funding.
- Scholarships may be renewed for up to three consecutive years provided the recipient:
- Scholarships are based on financial need and available funding.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as long as MCUF scholarship funds remain available.
- Scholarship funds must be used within the calendar year in which they are awarded.
