Advanced League InfoSight Masterclass™ Includes Fraud Investigations, Conducting Tabletop Exercises, Business Accounts, DIFS and More
Credit union professionals from across the state will be gathering in East Lansing for the 2025 League InfoSight Masterclass™, hosted in partnership with MCUL from Oct. 6–10, with Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct 7–8, featuring an advanced topic track.
Ideal for seasoned compliance experts and those who attended the Masterclass™ last year, the advanced session covers: topics requested by registrants, a regulatory update, hot topics and upcoming rules with Glory LeDu; a litigation update by Michael Christians; opening business accounts with Daniel Austin and Brett Pacek from CASE CU; state content on foreclosures, OREO properties and sales/land contracts with Chuck Holzman; how to conduct a fraud investigation with Emma Nelson; facilitating effective tabletop exercises with Bill Ashland; and trusts and fiduciary accounts with Dan Holzman.
In addition, a representative from DIFS will talk about current consumer compliance hot topics, major takeaways from recent exams and any updates to the program, as well as where the focus in the consumer compliance space is potentially shifting in the next year.
Also new this year is a dedicated Business Continuity Planning workshop on Oct. 10 that offers participants a chance to earn certification and sharpen their strategies for ensuring operational resilience. Sessions are designed for credit unions of all sizes, and a light breakfast, lunch and snacks are included.
