The Metro East Chapter of Credit Unions invites you to attend their educational event, AI: An Operational & Cybersecurity Perspective. This in-person event is for all interested credit union professionals- executives, managers, board and committee members, interested staff, and any CU Employee who is charged with understanding the risks of AI. Please forward this invitation to your team members as appropriate.

This session provides a practical, operations-focused view of how artificial intelligence (AI) is affecting cybersecurity risk, control of environments, and day-to-day activities within financial institutions. Rather than emphasizing AI theory, the discussion focuses on how AI is already being used by vendors, employees, and threat actors and what that means for governance, policies, controls, and oversight. Participants will gain clarity on where AI can improve security and efficiency, where it introduces new risk, and how management can evaluate AI related decisions through a regulatory, operational, and risk management lens.
