| Description: | The Capitol Area Chapter cordially invites you to attend their Active Violence Training. This in-person event is for all interested credit union employees- CEOs, executives, managers, and interested staff. Please forward this invitation to your team members as appropriate. This training session is designed to help employees recognize, respond to, and stay safe during and Active Violence Incident. Participants will learn how to identify potential warning signs, increase situational awareness, and understand practical response strategies during a critical event. The session will also cover steps individuals can take to protect themselves and others, how to react quickly under stress, how to stop the bleed and what to expect during an emergency response. The goal of this training is to build awareness, preparedness, and confidence so employees are better equipped to respond effectively should an emergency occur. This training is discussion-based and educational. There are no shooting simulations or live-action drills involved.
