MSGCU Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Renovated Chesterfield Township Branch

In January, Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) celebrated the grand re-opening of its Chesterfield Township Branch on Hall Road by hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony. In attendance were officials from Macomb County, Chesterfield Township, Macomb Chamber of Commerce, as well as other local area business and community leaders, members of the media and MSGCU Board Members and employees.

“We have been serving the Chesterfield Township community at this location for 16 years. And thanks to the continuous and long-time support of our members and community, we were able to make these renovations possible in five short months,” said MSGCU President/CEO Peter Gates. “We hope that once you’ve experienced the renovated facility, you will agree that it was worth the wait.”

MSGCU welcome dseveral special guests to their grand re-opening celebration. The ribbon was cut by Chesterfield Township Supervisor Daniel Acciavatti, Macomb County Chamber Executive Director Kelley Lovati, Macomb County Chamber Senior Director of Business Development David Gier, MSGCU President/CEO Peter Gates, MSGCU Chief Financial Officer Steve Brewer and MSGCU Chief Retail Officer Debbie Fahrney.

In addition, the Macomb Community College show choir, The Macombers, performed the national anthem.

The Chesterfield Township branch on Hall Road offers MSGCU’s comprehensive suite of services and products for the benefit of its members and the community. MSGCU additionally offers Saturday lobby and drive-thru hours, a fully staffed Michigan call center, access to nearly 30,000 fee-free ATMs nationwide and many scholarship opportunities, free educational workshops and much more.
