Northland Area Fundraiser Earns $4,600 for Claws & Paws Rescue
Northland Area Federal Credit Union employees in Tawas raised more than $4,600 and collected pet supplies this month to benefit Claws & Paws Rescue.
“We are astonished by our member’s kindness and generosity. Their donations really demonstrate their passion and commitment to help homeless animals,” said Deanna Reeves, Northalnd Area’s VP of operations.
Claws & Paws Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in West Branch, whose mission is to end the needless killing of dogs and cats in the sheltering and rescue environment. Claws & Paws provides foster homes, food and medical care for animals that have been abandoned, abused or neglected.
“Every animal that comes into our care is equally important and loved, donations like this help us to realize our mission and provide the necessary resources for these animals,” said Claws & Paws Board Member Theresa Snider.
As Claws & Paws’ biggest donor to date, the Rescue awarded Tawas Branch employees with a pizza lunch.
