MCUL & Affiliates Lending School

 

Seats are filling fast to hear Don Arkell, senior consultant from CULendingAdvice, at the MCUL & Affiliates' new Lending School. The event takes place on Oct. 22-23 at the MSU Henry Center in East Lansing. The first day of training is geared for frontline staff and the second day for management. Registration is $219 per person, per day.

MCUL & Affiliates 2019 Telephone Collections School
Now is the time to begin reducing charge-offs and running a more efficient and service-driven collections department. The MCUL & Affiliates 2019 Telephone Collections School will take place Nov. 13 in Novi, featuring Steve Peterson, an industry collections expert. The agenda will cover the top 12 collection tips, how to use the internet in collections and how to handle bankruptcy in collections, plus more. Registration is available for $219 per person.

Intentional CU Leadership
Credit union professionals who lead themselves, others or their organizations should register now for Intentional CU Leadership, an opportunity to foster self-improvement and leadership skills. The popular event takes place Nov. 6, with pre-event networking the evening of Nov. 5, at Consumers Credit Union in Kalamazoo. This year's event features pre-event networking facilitated by Pete Honsberger with a focus on "Preparing for Leadership: Networking Like Never Before." TED-style talks from Christine Allen on "Resilient Leadership" and Dennis McIntee on "Coaching Skills for Leaders" will be heard Nov. 6 and then attendees decide which speaker and topic to follow for the balance of the day.  Registration is just $399 per person and includes leadership recognition for those who are attending the event for the third time.
