CUNA Webinars: October

  • CUNA will deliver a webinar on Advanced Balance Sheet Earnings on Oct. 10 from 3-4:30 p.m. (ET). The session will review the foundations of financial management: objectives, purpose, tools, ratios and strategies for maximizing earnings, as well as examine modeling techniques to consider in the ALM process. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions.
  • At an upcoming CUNA webinar on Advanced Asset Liability Management, participants will discover how product design and pricing affects sensitivity of cash flows to changes in interest rates, as well as develop analytic tools to determine “decay rates” (deposit product sensitivity) and analyzing “duration” (market price sensitivity). The webinar takes place Oct. 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. and is priced at $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions. The training is part of the CUNA Financial Management Advanced eSchool which started in January of 2019. CUNA members may gain access to the entire series for $1,295.
  • CUNA is hosting a Coaching for Change webinar, Oct. 25 from 12-1:30 p.m. (ET). The session  will teach specific ways of how to help employees embrace change through coaching. The webinar is part of the CUNA Coaching Conversations eSchool Part 2 which started Oct. 4. CUNA members gain access to the entire series for $895 or $219 for just the webinar on Oct. 25.
  • Taking ERM and the RMCO to the Next Level is the topic of a CUNA webinar taking place Oct. 30 from 2-3 p.m. (EDT). The session will address ways to elevate a credit union’s Enterprise Risk Management program to ensure that it doesn’t become a stagnant, rote exercise. Methods for making ERM information more relevant and actionable will be explored, along with examining the role of the Risk Management Committee (RMCO), the most appropriate structure and flows of information in the ERM program. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions.
