Flurry of Excitement Surrounds AC&E; Book Rooms by May 14

Now less than a month away, those interested in attending the MCUL/CUSG 2019 Annual Convention & Exposition are reminded to register and then secure accommodations by May 14. The event takes place June 5-8 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and offers plenty of great experiences for commuters to enjoy one-day registration options.

Amongst the packed agenda of events, participants will want to make time to attend the "Global Women's Leadership Network: Retaining, Attracting and Developing Talent in a Competitive Marketplace Panel Discussion" on June 6 from 8:00-9:00 am and the MCUL & Affiliates annual "Membership Meeting and Leadership Summit" that afternoon from 4:30-5:30 pm.

Plenty of excitement will be found Center Stage!, kicking off on Thursday with Author Will Bowen delivering the keynote, "A Complaint Free World: How to Stop Complaining and Start Enjoying the Life You Always Wanted." On Friday, Center Stage! will feature a panel discussion on "Serving the Underbanked and Millennials: Credit Unions Can Find Innovative Ways to Serve Both" and keynote on "Brand Promise: Over Promise and Over Deliver" with Author Rick Barrera.

Attendees will enjoy fun social events including the "Corks for a Cause Networking Extravaganza," "Alloya Live Hospitality Party," "CUSG Welcome Reception" and "Children's Miracle Network Hospitals: CUs for Kids Live Auction Reception," plus time spent in the expo hall networking with nearly 100 vendors from across the country.

When registering, attendees should remember to include ticketed events such as the "Bridge to Conversation Networking Lunch," "Lunch and Learn Roundtables," "'Lunch to Go' or 'Sit and Chat'" and "CUES Networking Lunch: Who is the Member of the Future?"
