January CUNA Webinars

  • A webinar on the Introduction to Financial Management Analysis and Problem Solving will be offered by CUNA on Jan. 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. (ET). The session will examine how ALM modeling techniques have adapted to both product innovations and regulatory pressure for credit unions, as well as offer a review of how to apply financial management tools to balance sheet management. Registration for CUNA affiliated credit unions is $219.
     
  • Those interested in increasing their knowledge on the Essentials of Balance Sheet Earnings may plan on registering for CUNA's webinar on the subject being hosted on Jan. 24 from 3-4:30 p.m. (ET). The agenda will cover how to identify and quantify balance sheet risks, review conflicting priorities (capital, earnings, and growth) with an appropriate level of capital and risks and gain a better understanding of how high growth can lead to increased risk for a credit union. CUNA member credit unions may register for $219.
     
  • An Introduction to Asset Liability Management webinar will be hosted on Jan. 31 by CUNA from 3-4:30 p.m. (ET). During the session participants will learn to identify and quantify the risks on the balance sheet, how to assess priorities among conflicting financial objectives such as capital, earnings, growth and service and to use tools to measure the volatility of income and expenses flowing from the balance sheet. The webinar is $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions and is available to CUNA Training Bundle users at no additional cost.
  • A CUNA webinar on an Introduction to Asset Liability Management will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. on Jan. 31. Participants will learn to identify and quantify the risks on the balance sheet and how to assess priorities among conflicting financial objectives such as capital, earnings, growth and service. Tools to measure the volatility of income and expenses flowing from the balance sheet will be explored and attendees will learn how to write an ALM policy. This webinar is part of CUNA Financial Management Essentials eSchool which started Jan. 10. CUNA members gain access to the entire series for $1,295 and may access this singular webinar for $219. The event is endorsed by the CUNA Finance Council.
