Michigan Legacy Credit Union Surpasses Goal with Stuff a Backpack Campaign
Michigan Legacy Credit Union recently hosted a school backpack campaign to give back to its community.
With six branches serving five counties, Michigan Legacy Credit Union understands the financial strain that families encounter when it comes to ensuring their children can start the school year with the proper necessities.
With the ever-growing list of supplies recommended for students, Michigan Legacy worked to raise funds to supply backpacks to elementary schools in the communities that surround their branches. The credit union donated 600 backpacks stuffed with folders, notebooks, crayons, pencils, pens, rulers, glue sticks, colored pencils, markers, erasers, scissors and hand sanitizer.
“We are dedicated to improving the lives of our owners and communities. Michigan Legacy is about providing and contributing all types of tools and education, beyond just financial; we are so proud of this initiative and surpassing last year’s efforts” said President/CEO Carma Peters.Go to main navigation
