Public Service Credit Union Begins Operations with 7 New CO-OP Branches
Public Service Credit Union has successfully begun operations with seven shared branches in the Metro Detroit area. The Credit Union Family Service Centers branches are located in Northeast Detroit, Northwest Detroit, Garden City, Redford, Southfield, Taylor and Ann Arbor.
Public Service Credit Union looks forward to maintaining the integrity of the shared branch network and relationship among other credit unions that have kept the credit union competitive and convenient. Each location has integrated into Public Service Credit Union and continued their self-sufficient operations with little change.
“For credit unions of all sizes, this network is vital in maintaining our ability as an industry to compete with big-bank branching networks,” said Rob Mercier, SVP of Public Service Credit Union. “Public Service Credit Union has been a long-time supporter of shared branching, and their members are the second highest volume users of the Michigan stand-alone branches.”
CO-OP Shared Branch comprises 5,700 branches throughout the United States, with 1,800 participating credit unions.Go to main navigation
