Alliance Catholic Credit Union Sponsors Catholic Night at the Ballpark
On August 10, Alliance Catholic Credit Union (ACCU) will host the inaugural Catholic Night at the Ballpark at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, featuring the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers and the Westside Woolly Mammoths.
In cooperation with the United Shores Professional Baseball League (USPBL), ACCU is putting on a fun-filled family night of baseball, fireworks and kids’ activities in an effort to connect with the communities in which they serve.
”The USPBL has done such an amazing job bringing affordable, entertaining professional baseball to the area,” said Rob Grech, President/CEO of Alliance Catholic Credit Union. “Jimmy John’s Field is such a great venue for families and there are so many Catholic parishes in the area. It was a perfect fit for us. We’re hoping Catholic Night at the Ballpark can become an annual tradition.”
ACCU is the largest Catholic credit union in the country and serves the entire state of Michigan. Currently, ACCU has seven branches across Metro Detroit and is opening two new branch locations this summer: one located in Southwest Detroit and the other in Shelby Township.
The credit union will be joined by other Catholic organizations, such as Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan and Young Catholic Professionals, to share information about services they are providing to the community.
Tickets will be available for a discounted price from the USPBL website using the promotional code CATHOLIC18 until the day of the event. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the first pitch taking place at 7:05 p.m.Go to main navigation
