- Regulation Z: Closed-End Lending—Beyond Mortgages will be the conversation at a CUNA-sponsored webinar on May 10. The session will step away from the numerous Regulation Z requirements associated with mortgage lending and instead take a closer look at some of the issues that come up in general closed-end installment lending. Topics will include the Federal TILA disclosure statement, the varying disclosure requirements related to a refinance, an assumption and a loan modification, record retention requirements and determining and maintaining APR accuracy. The webinar takes place from 2–3:30 p.m. (ET) and registration is $219 for CUNA-affiliated credit unions.

The training is ideal for aspiring financial counselors who need to explore the problems members are facing, how they will solve them and what credit unions can do to help. The training will cover the social and economic impact of financial issues members are experiencing nationwide and how to recognize who needs help. The webinar is available for CUNA-affiliated credit unions for $219.
