April Showers Empowerment at Spring Volunteer Conference

Investing in the personal and professional development of credit union volunteers helps empower them to change the world for the better, one credit union member's life at a time.

During the MCUL & Affiliates 2018 Spring Leadership Development Conference, April 27–29 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, attendees will have access to ideas, information, experts and resources to lead Michigan credit unions into the future.

Developed for CEOs, directors and committee members with varied backgrounds and experience, the agenda includes a lineup of important compliance topics, including "Top 10 Compliance Issues for Boards," "Human Resources and Healthcare Compliance" and "Bank Secrecy Act" training.

The event provides an outstanding opportunity for board members to bond with one another and meet peers from throughout the state, and provides opportunities for attendees to bring a guests to enjoy meals, a Whimsy Wood Sign Painting Workshop, bingo, casino amenities and the nearby Soaring Eagle Waterpark.

Hotel rooms are being held at negotiated rates until April 4 at both the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort and the Soaring Eagle Waterpark Hotel. Registration discounts are available for credit unions who send five or more attendees.
