Winery Tour, Shopping, Golf and Community Service Options for Guests at AC&E
Over 550 Michigan credit union professionals are already registered for the MCUL/CUSG 2018 Annual Convention & Exposition. This year’s conference boasts even more activities designed especially for guests who are joining participants.
On June 7, guests can choose from two options. “Backpacks for Kids,” a special community service project executed by the Sunrise Rotary to provide more than 1,000 children in the Traverse City Area Public School District school supplies. During the program, guests will hear about the initiative and lend a hand to assemble several dozen backpacks that will be donated on behalf of Michigan credit unions.
Guests may also choose the "Get in the Swing: Golf Pro Clinic" held at the Grand Traverse Resort Golf School. Participants will join a golf pro and staff for insider tips to improve putting, short game and full swings. Both Thursday guest programs are $25 per person, with limited space.
On June 8, guests can head off for the "Traverse City Splendor: Downtown Shops and a Wine Trail Stop" adventure. Motorcoach transportation will take attendees to downtown Traverse City for shopping and head to Black Star Farms, a unique wine and culinary destination in the heart of Traverse City's wine country. Attendees will enjoy lunch in Black Star’s beautiful Aquarius Room, followed by an hour-long guided tour of the property including the inn, estate vineyard, centennial barn and wine cave. The tour concludes with a standard tasting in the Arcturos Room featuring award-winning wines. This outing is available for $69 per person.Go to main navigation
